Hi,
We currently have 40 chins in foster care and recently there have been
little-to-no inquiries about adoption. Unfortunately this means that we are
out of room for anymore rescues without adding more foster or adoptive
homes.
We were approached today by a long-time member of CA Chins about re-homing
her nine chinchillas. Due to health and financial/employment challenges,
the owner feels that she can no longer take care of the chinchillas.
The 9 chins are broken down into the following groups:
- 3 male grey chins together (1 father, 1 son, the other a rescue);
- 2 males together (1 grey and 1 TOV/mosaic offspring);
- 3 females together (1 pastel rescue and her two daughters mosaics);
- 1 mosaic female.
These chins are located in the North Bay Area.
If you have been considering adding another chinchilla to your family or
might have room to foster a cage (or more) of chins, please let us know.
You can send us an email or call Lani Ritchey (evenings and weekends) at
650-325-0295.
Thanks,
Lori
