[CAChinsRescue] So Cal chins - Fires

Hi,

We don't have any specific information about chins in need in So Cal due to
all of the fires.  However, we would like to suggest that anybody in
Southern California that has room for extra chinchillas, check your local
animal shelters for animals that may have become homeless due to the fires.
There are a number of fur ranches and breeders in the arid, hot, less
populated areas in the south, so we know there are a lot of chins that could
potentially be needing temporary or permanent homes.  There may also be
people who had to evacuate with their animals, but who now could use a safe
place for their chinchilla to stay for a short period of time while they
wait for containment of the fires and permission to return home.
