FUNDRAISING
===========

Both CA Chins and ChinchillaRescue.Org will have 2007 calendars available
for sale soon. The CA Chins Calendar features cute pictures of chinchillas
in costumes.  The Rescue Calendar features photos and stories about a few of
the chins we received and re-homed during 2006.  If interested in the CA
Chins calendar, contact Lani Ritchey. If interested in the
ChinchillaRescue.Org calendar, please contact Lori Cope.  Since we are
making the calendars to raise funds, we would like to have some idea how
many people are interested in the calendars so that we print an accurate
number, without printing surplus.


EVENTS
======
 
We are planning our holiday party for December 3rd or 10th this year.  Due
to the large number of home and other projects that our officers are in the
midst of this year, we are looking for other venue options for the party.
If anyone has any offers or ideas of locations for our annual holiday party,
please contact Lani Ritchey.  Since most of our members live on the San
Francisco peninsula, a location on the peninsula or San Jose, would be
ideal.   Usually we do an afternoon event, serving desserts and hot
beverages, while providing an opportunity for people to shop in our Holiday
Bazaar.
 
RESCUES
=======
 
We received no new chins in October in need of re-homing, although it sure
does not seem that way! Finally we are starting to see a drop in the total
number of chins in our foster care after the large summer influx.
